Neck Pain

Neck pain can be caused from a disc injury, posture, scar tissue in the muscles, and many other sources.  It is important to have your neck evaluated to find the source of your pain.

Many times symptoms can be felt as tingling into the arm, hand, or fingers.  Tingling is a sign that the nerve is irritated.  The nerves originate at the neck and travel down the entire arm.  We examine the entire nerve to determine where the problem is.

Integrative Diagnosis is a complete therapy system for determining what is exactly wrong.  Once the diagnosis is made, the best non-invasive, hands-on treatment to remove scar tissue is Manual Adhesion Release (MAR) and Instrument Adhesion Release (IAR).  These techniques have revolutionized the treatment of muscle and tendon conditions.  Dr. Phipps, who is a level 5 Integrative Diagnosis provider is able to localize and remove scar tissue. The treatment is done exclusively with the doctor’s hands.

The steps to removing scar tissue are as follows:

  1. Doctor uses hands to locate the scar tissue and nerve entrapments.
  2. The doctor tensions the scar tissue with his hands.
  3. Patient moves the specific body part in a series of proven positions to lengthen the muscle, tendon, or nerve.
  4. Tension is generated on the scar tissue, causing it to break down and ultimately be absorbed by the body.

This procedure can restore normal strength, flexibility, and movement, eliminating pain and improving the performance of the muscle.
